Following up from the Future Horizons EP by Perception, comes the eagerly anticipated second release on Timehri Records. Another three track UKG infused project, this time from the hugely rated Highrise. 
 
Tasked earlier in the year, with curating the 2nd half of the label’s 100% production cassette featuring both artists, Highrise delivers the Distant Skies EP with signature kick and crunch, whilst adding soul and bassline flare to his extensive discography. 
 
Sky Blue sets the tone. Groove galore and melody injection provides the opener with underground flow. Next To You comes heavy on the 4/4, the dance floor driver proven to deliver hands-in-the-air vibes amongst all the club sounds. Really Feeling comes with the off-kilter drum style. Skippy and like the previous, bassline energy lead. Vocal samples, subtle but pivotal to showcasing the Timehri sound.
