Bluff Records are at it again, following up their previous two Voy-E re-issues with a debut release from Brooklyn based producer Doxa!
Known for his 4/4 Techno, the record features four breakbeat driven tracks made between 2017 – 2020 put together with Bluff head honcho Kelvin Vanvuuren following link-ups in both London and NYC. We premiere the B2, a 145 bpm broken Techno, Electro hybrid which has picked up early support from the likes of Jossy Mistu!
A lot has happened since the last release and given the overwhelming urgency and severity of the situation around the world, 100% of proceeds will be donated evenly between The Black Curriculum, a social enterprise founded to address the lack of Black British history in the UK Curriculum, and Bed-Stuy Strong, a mutual aid network in New York that provides vulnerable members of the Bed-Stuy community with no-contact grocery deliveries.
The EP is currently in the process of being pressed and will be shipping at the beginning of September via 12" vinyl. The release will also be put up for sale digitally via Bandcamp around the same time.
