EARFUL OF | Dubrunner

The next instalment of our EARFUL OF mix series is brought to you by Dubrunner, a Leeds DJ and Producer at the heart of his local scene well known to dabble within a wide range of club sounds.

As promoter and resident for the notable Stretchy Dance Supply party alongside Breaka, together they have been responsible for booking the best in 160, Footwork and Jungle, including Sherelle, Fauzia and Addision Groove, among others.

The Tribe Records employee has been busy release wise of late, adding no less than three releases to his growing discography which includes impressive electro driven influences. His latest output on Scuffed is a 3 track digital EP named Scorpio Season, rich in dubwise breaks, 808’s and references to sound system culture throughout.

Next up is an ambient dub remix of ‘Cold Water’ by the neosxoul band Nektr - a joint remix with fellow Leeds native and Holding Hands, Space Lab & Seven Hills affiliate, Adam Pits.

Rounding off August’s output is the experimental track, 'Smoke Signal' on Reel Long Overdub, part of a Leeds based charity comp in aid of Leeds Asylum Seekers Support Network.

We’re over the moon to welcome Dubrunner onto the podcast series as he delivers a vinyl only hour long seamless blend though club sounds spanning dub, broken techno, hard drum and breaks. We’re really excited to see what the future holds for the talented Londoner - previous support slots for Call Super, Henry Wu, LTJ Bukem, David Rodigan and DJ Bus Replacement Service come as no surprise!

An EARFUL OF Dubrunner… Enjoy!
